  • I work with individuals and couples, specializing in anxiety, trauma recovery, and relationship conflict using evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and The Gottman Method Couples Counseling.

  • Yes. Living Empowered Counseling is in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Optum, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Colorado.

    As a courtesy, we will submit claims to your insurance. However, you are responsible for understanding your specific benefits, including your deductible, co-pay, and coverage.

    We can also offer a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are charged the full non-insurance session fee.

  • Therapy is individualized and depends on your goals, needs, and level of engagement. Some clients seek short-term, focused support, while others choose longer-term work for continued support. The pace and length of therapy are collaborative and tailored to you.
